The world's first flatpack theatre
"At last someone's done it -
a temporary theatre for the 21st century"
Tim Harvey, founder Wilderness Festival
Lucy is a co-founder of studio three sixty°
studio three sixty° are dedicated to designing unique temporary venues and undertake bespoke commissions.
The collective began life following a commission to design and build Roundabout, a pop-up theatre auditorium for new writing theatre company Paines Plough.
Roundabout was launched in August 2014 at Summerhall, Edinburgh, was voted Best Fringe Venue 2015 and also won The Stage Awards Theatre Building of the Year 2015.
studio three sixty° was formed to design and build more venues using the ethos and technology developed for Roundabout.
A new pop-up venue The Mix was launched at the Wilderness Festival in July 2016. Fully waterproof and weather proof, it also features a heating and ventilation system which means it can be used all year round. The venue can be installed in just two days from arrival on-site. At the heart of the venue is a magical and architecturally striking performance space.
studio three sixty° are currently under commission to Wise Children and are developing their next temporary venue.
